What ended us was the time.
Things like:

• ‘incompatible formats’
• ‘missing dots’
• ‘reversed order’

We tried:

• Railway time
• ‘dd/mm/yyyy’, ‘mm/dd/yyyy’ and ‘yyyy/mm/dd’
• Satellites
• Bloody ISO 8601 standard

And still, nothing helped.

Something would always come up:

• ‘leap years’;
• ‘daylight saving time’;
• ‘your NVRAM or PRAM needs a restart’;1*
• ‘Microwaves across Europe 6 minutes slow due to a Serbia-Kosovo grid dispute’2*

But did you know that we can be in the same room but oceans apart?
Each in their own time zone.

Out of all the fuckups and edge cases, it was that time difference that ended us.
